In order for us to provide transcription services to you, we are supplied with audio recordings, whether digital, or by other means, of in many cases, highly sensitive and confidential information. We are committed to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your information.
To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place, as required of us under the Data Protection Act 1988, appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures and policies to safeguard and secure and protect the information we may collect or be given by you.
Under no circumstances we outsource your material to overseas transcription companies. Our transcribers have all signed confidentiality agreements with the company and we have in place confidentiality agreements with our customers.
Where we disclose your information to our transcribers for purposes of undertaking transcription work, the transcriber in question is obligated to use that information in accordance with the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement signed with the company.
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified to do its business Just Delegate Ltd may disclose your information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings, and in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.
For your further peace of mind, we are one of a very few transcription companies that is covered
by Professional Indemnity insurance.
Securing your data
Just Delegate Ltd takes all reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your information.
Your digital audio recordings can be uploaded to us through a secure file transfer system accessed directly from our website. We are also happy to accept your material through any other secure means of your choice.
DVDs/CDs/tapes and such other media is returned to the originator by secure mail.
We are Cyber Essentials certified, so you can be safe in the knowledge that we have a thorough understanding and knowledge around IT systems and the constant threat of cyber security. We are also certified under the IASME Governance Standard for Information and Cyber Security.
